About Director

Hi! I am Adam West Schainblatt, the School Director.

I have being studying and teaching martial arts since 1979. I opened my first martial arts school in Raleigh in 1987. When I became a believer and follower of Jesus Christ in 1991 I eliminated all parts of my teaching that did not honor God. But I would still consider that school a secular school that was owned by a Christian.

Then, in 1999 I decided to sell that school to my partner and open a new school that not only replaced Eastern religious and New Age concepts with Christian ones but with a focus on smaller classes, a new curriculum and adding prayer and bible studies.

Then in 2005 I felt God wanted me to take it a huge step further, to develop a new curriculum for a new program called Karate Kids for Christ. I am so excited about this new Christian Martial Arts Curriculum and encourage you to check it out to see if it is the right thing for your child! I know you and your child will LOVE IT! And that is why we offer a 100% SATISFACTION GUARANTEE.

Dedication of Adam Schainblatt:

When I started the martial arts I fell in love with its powerful techniques and then later its "teachings" or "philosophy." I thought all my successes in martial arts were ONLY because of my personal investment in myself through self-discipline, training, hard work or study. At least that is what I was taught and believed. That I controlled my destiny and I could accomplish anything I wanted too if I worked hard enough. I was wrong. It is God that I thank for the desire to work hard, for all the successes and blessings that I have had and will ever have in my life, and I acknowledge that He is in control and that He is God and I am not.

My prayer is that God would enable me to make Jesus Christ the center of my life every day, moment to moment. I strive to honor Him and bless Him with my life. My prayer is that God will use me, and I will use the gifts and talents he has blessed me with, to glorify Him and to spread His Word so that those whom my life touches, or I come into contact with, might be saved and come to know Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior.
